Patience..not a very strong characteristic of mine…I’ve even been described as someone who loves quick fixes..sometimes eating some chocolate..or buying a cute pair of shoes does seem to make things seem brighter huh?? What happens when something happens that can’t be solved by a bar of chocolate?
Waiting..I’ve never had to wait this long for anything. There’s nothing I can do to change things…so waiting is the only thing I can do….Some part of me wants to sit in my room with the curtains closed and listen to sad songs all day…but how long can you do that for??? The guilt that comes over me when I think that I’m here having a good time when someone I care about isn’t is unbearable at times..But sometimes I think, even if I go on a hunger strike, how will that help the person? It won’t..not in the least (This isn’t to be confused for fasting due to religious reasons such as praying..etc etc)
My thoughts are all over..and this post just reveals it..oh well..too bad..The urge to find someone or something to blame is so easy huh? Calling the person just makes it sadder..its good coz then you get to hear the sound of their voice..and get reassured that things will work out sooner or later…you have to be strong for them..coz I’m sure they wouldn’t want to know that their suffering is causing you pain..but you can’t really hide it from someone who knows you so well..
Being strong…and trying to carry on with your life as best as you can..and praying and hoping for the best..thats the best way to go about it right??
On a random note: Woke up today to blue skies and snow..so beautiful..and the house is quiet so its quite peaceful..sigh…saw some children playing with the snow…building snowmen..reminded me of the first time I ever saw snow..felt like a child calling my dad..my mom thought we had gone crazy…grown people getting excited over such a small thing as snow…but its the little things in life that make you happy..methinks.
