Okie so this slow computer is going to give me wrinkles that weren’t there before..Its so slow!!! Its taking me ages to write down this post..oh well….thats the life of a lowly intern for you..
Moving on…Saturday..got the sun that I wanted…it was a lovely day..Woke up early to go shopping with my sis..oh my that girl is a determined shopper…We walked so many kilometres I’m sure an inch or two was lost in the process (one can always dream)..
Went to this shop and tried on some dresses and almost broke down into tears…Never try European style dresses when you’ve got an African wowowo..it just doesn’t work..Its kinda embarassing to go shopping with someone slimmer than you.telling the attendant to bring you clothes in a bigger size really does nothing for your self esteem..so why can’t I just choose clothes in my own size??? A lot of it is denial..and the other is the body I have…waist too small, hips err….a tad larger than the waist..meaning I have clothes from size 10 to 14..and they all fit! (okie depending on what my week was like..lol)
I’d love to be one of this women who happily strolls into a shop and knows for sure that this size will fit..I never do..I picked up a size 12 skirt..and it was too big…Happiness..only to find the size 10 didn’t fit…why don’t they make clothes in size 11 and 13?? My woes would be over!!!
Inspite of that..Still found some lovely skirts..and a cute pair of shoes… 
(I’d post pics..but the comp is making creaky noises…so I’m just hoping it gets me to the end of my post) So today I’m in happiness, in a cute black and white skirt…
Speaking of clothes..My supervisor told me last week that my clothes were too colourful…huh?? I’m not the only one who wears rainbow colours to the office!! Then when I try and tone it down, I’m accused of looking dull and dark..huh??? Can some people make up their minds?? So yes, inspite of the glorious weather Val shall be in black and grey till friday (clotheswise not mood colours)
My best friend is coming over for a long weekend..and I’m ever so pleased…loads and loads of gossip coming my way..as well as the comfort of being around someone who knows you well..and you’re comfy in their company…bliss!!!!
