Some of these songs took me on a trip down memory lane:
- The anticipation and excitement…waiting for the boy to arrive..my hair..do I look ok?? Countless trips to the mirror just to make sure.
- The smile that must have been on my face when I heard the doorbell ring..and when I finally opened the door.
- Waiting for him to leave so I can dissect each and every word that he said and all his gestures with my best friend.
- Getting a wake up call/ text…saying I was the first thing on his mind when he woke up.
- Going to bed happy….just coz he called and said goodnight.
- Opening the door and receiving an unexpected delivery of flowers…red roses….the resulting screams with my girlfriends…
- Making up after an argument…
- When you’re in a crowd, looking up to find him looking at you…the err unwanted blush..the smile I just couldn’t hide.
- The calm feeling (can I call it peace) lying in his arms…talking..or not talking..
Oh dear..I’m turning to mush…

So me I saw “I am in love” and immediately this song came to mind ,” I’m love (love).Yes, I am in love.With a Dee, deejay (yes, I’m in love)”- and I am thinking someone like Yvonne Chaka Chaka sang it. Bt I see yours is by Ginuwine.
The Luther Vandross songs- I liked.Always imagined “here and now” was a wedding song coz of the line”here and now I promise to love faithfully. starting now…..”
And yes, “Lost without you”- Robin Thicke is not too thick either.
The only thing I remember about “love shouldhave brought you home last night” by Toni Braxton is what she is wearing in the video and the emotion on her face.
