I don’t think there’s anything like a break. Once you give yourselves a little away time to “think things over” you’re both probably on the way out, so yeah, anything goes.
Depending of course, on your definition of “anything”.

on a break?! that is dangerous ground… you are still in a relationship but have some bit of freedom so maybe flirting would be the limit…
at the end of the day, do not do anything that if he did with another chick while on the break would upset you…

A break is really a time apart to look around and determine whether you want the one in the hand, or the two in the bush.
That makes sense
Therefore, anything goes.
And I agree, most time outs end up in break ups anyway. So since you don’t know what the other party is doing or how far they are going, why hold yourself back if chances are you are already in Endsville?
