4 THINGS I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT
- Family- Special they are…..missing them loads!
- Recipes- I love reading recipes…why I don’t know..guess its relaxing..plus you get the chance to try something bit different….like today I’m trying out one for size..hope it works out…coz twill be yummy!!!
- Books- As stated earlier, can read the whole day…point I realised I was addicted was when I left the house during a storm to go borrow some more books..
- Artsy creative stuff- Still have some sketches somewhere (went through a phase of drawing whenever I was bored..like during Kiswahili classes, when we were supposed to be reading things like “Kitumbua kimeingia mchanga” and other exciting stuff)…Now I just watch what others do…be it music, fashion, interior design..whatever..it grips me!
4 WORDS OR PHRASES I USE OFTEN
- Thingie- Used to describe anything and everything….you know when you can picture a certain word in your head but it refuses to leap off your tongue??
- What the fuse?- Attempts of mine to try and stop swearing…it works really…like saying “Sugar” instead of “shit!”….that sort of thing.
- Salaams- Me and my love for shout-outs…so its a word that is used ALOT!
- Wo-wo-wo- hehe
4 THINGS I HAVE LEARNED FROM THE PAST.
- Never to believe everything that a man says at the beginning of the relationship…that honey-mooney phase is just phoooeeey!!
- That having a bad temper and a hard head is not a helpful combination.
- That I’m turning more and more like my mother everyday…sometimes I hear myself talk and I cannot believe it!
- Despite everything…my inner romantic refuses to die….infct its getting worse by the day…when I swapped my James Pattersons and Patricia Cornwells for Nora Roberts and Jude Deveraux these fears were confirmed!
4 PLACES I WANT TO SEE OR VISIT
- Barbados- that combi of sun, sea, sand…okie change that to a remote private island….like the one owned by Richard Branson.
- Italy- Fashion capital….I sigh just thinking of all the gorgeous shoes that abound!
- Lodwar-Need to travel all over Kenya..seriously how can I live in such a beautiful country and have foreign people know more about it than I do..no way!
- India- Need to see it to believe it…plus I’m enamoured with Bollywood!!
4 THINGS THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY.
- I got really irritated…actually make that angry. Yet it passed…icecream does do wonders!
- Did some school work.. Very little though..
- Finished reading “Appointment with Death”…..and again..Agatha Christie is the Mistress of her art..I can never figure out who the murderer is no matter how hard I try.
- Finally got zee lamp to work..Yippee!! Okie let me confess someone else fixed the lamp for me…Lamp fixing is just not among my special talents..
