- I have forgotten how to talk to one of my oldest friends….we try, but we don’t have anything to say to each other…..to the point of even talking about the weather (yes thats how bad it is)….drifting apart is so weird.
- Torture is baking a devil food cake. How? Well trying to eat healthy does not include stuffing oneself with mouthfuls of yummy… mouth-watering..chocolately cake (okie now I want another piece!). these are the times I miss my family…coz I like baking..but not really interested in the cake once its done..so they would eat it all up!! I think I’ll leave it in the kitchen for the housemates…
- Little tip when baking cakes…when you’re making a cake that requires a filling, sprinkle some sugar syrup (sugar and water) onto the cut surfaces of the cake before spreading the jam, cream, icing..whatever. This makes the cake nice and moist like those from the bakery.
- Housemates are embarassing…this is me walking to the kitchen late at night to go make myself a cup of chamomile tea. I switch on the lights and find said housemate and her beloved in errmm.states of undress…in the kitchen!! Si I acted like I had seen nothing..and walked straight to the kettle…while they ran upstairs giggling..and no, they are not teenagers….and yes she has a room upstairs…..
